In November 2025, German road traffic statistics show that roughly 28,400 people were injured in accidents-a figure that is 1 % higher than in the same month a year earlier. The number of traffic fatalities rose by 16, reaching 211 deaths. Across the country the police logged about 224,600 road traffic incidents during that month, which is 2 % (approximately 4,700) more than the previous year’s November total.
Looking at the period from January to November 2025, police authorities recorded 2.29 million road traffic accidents. This represents a 1 % decrease compared with the same stretch of the previous year, a drop of about 17,700 incidents. Among these, 271,400 involved personal injury; 2,582 people were killed in such incidents. Accordingly, traffic deaths increased by 27 from the same period a year earlier, while the count of serious‑injury accidents remained roughly unchanged. The number of people injured in road traffic fell by 1 % (around 2,500 less), leaving 338,000 injured over the eleven‑month span, according to the Federal Statistical Office.
