A German citizen has been detained in the Stawropol region of Russia. According to the Russian news agency Interfax on Monday, the Federal Security Service (FSB) accused her of being involved in planning a terrorist attack against a law enforcement facility, allegedly working on behalf of Ukrainian intelligence services. Furthermore, another person from Central Asia was apprehended, who was supposedly tasked with detonating the bomb. Russian authorities stated that both detainees have given confessions, though further details were initially unavailable. The bomb itself was reportedly discovered in the backpack belonging to the 1969-born individual.
