On Saturday, U.S. President Donald Trump publicly announced the death of his longtime adversary, former FBI director and later special prosecutor Robert Mueller. Trump wrote on his platform, Truth Social, “Good, I’m glad he’s dead. He can no longer harm innocent people”.

Mueller had led the FBI from 2001 to 2013. Between May 2017 and March 2019 he served as the special prosecutor tasked with investigating possible ties between Donald Trump’s campaign team and Russian officials. According to the “New York Times”, Mueller died on Friday at the age of 81.
