FDP Candidate Höne Names Kubicki as Preferred Vice President

FDP politician Henning Höne indicated that if he is elected as the party chairman, he intends to appoint his rival, Wolfgang Kubicki, as the party vice-chairman. Speaking to Spiegel, Höne stated, “If I am elected as chairman, I would naturally be pleased to have him as my deputy within the team”. He further commented, “I have always said that Wolfgang Kubicki is an important part of the party and must continue to play a significant role”. Höne added, “Naturally, this also applies in the event of my election. Kubicki and I will compete in a fair, sporting manner and through exchange”.
