Borussia Dortmund managed a dramatic 2-0 away victory against VfB Stuttgart in the match played on Saturday evening. Although Stuttgart appeared to be the more dominant side for much of the game and had several shooting opportunities, they failed to convert any of them into goals. Conversely, Dortmund focused on a compact defensive structure, allowing very few dangerous chances through.
During the second half, VfB coach Sebastian Hoeneß attempted to revive his team by bringing on Chema Andrés and Ermedin Demirović, but these changes did not yield the desired result. The Dortmund side also injected fresh attacking talent, notably Julian Brandt and Fábio Silva, to inject energy into the match. This boost finally paid off when Karim Adeyemi scored in the 94th minute, followed two minutes later by a goal from Julian Brandt, which proved too much for the surprised Stuttgart players.
