Clueso Secures Fourth Number One Album With Deja Vu Half on German Charts

Clueso now owns four consecutive number‑one albums, as confirmed by GfK. His double‑album opener “Deja Vu 1/2” sits atop the German album chart. The work competes with Gorillaz’s “The Mountain” (no. 2), Bruno Mars’s “The Romantic” (no. 3) and Girl‑Group Blackpink’s “Deadline” (no. 4). Strong re‑entries drop Sodom’s “Get What You Deserve” to no. 5 and rapper Souly’s “Bossbaby Tape” to no. 7.

In the singles chart, Taylor Swift’s “Opalite” has slid to no. 13 after a week, overtaking Zara Larsson. Larsson’s long‑running hit “Lush Life” finally broke to the top after a long journey: it entered the chart in autumn 2015, spent many weeks in the Top 10, disappeared for nine years and then resurfaced following a viral TikTok video. The track now sits between Swift’s “The Fate Of Ophelia” and Rayes’ “Where Is My Husband!”. This marks Larsson’s second number‑one single, following her collaborative effort with David Guetta on “This One’s For You”.

Alex Warren takes the fifth spot with “Fever Dream”, directly ahead of his worldwide hit “Ordinary” at sixth place. Germany’s Eurovision hopeful, Sarah Engels, opens at no. 75 with the entry “Fire”. For context, last year’s representatives Abor & Tynna’s “Baller” debuted at no. 13 following the national pre‑selection, whereas 2024 participant Isaak’s “Always on the Run” only entered the charts after the Eurovision final in May, peaking at no. 22.

The official German charts are compiled by GfK Entertainment on behalf of the Bundesverband Musikindustrie and are said to cover 90 percent of all music sales.
