US Stocks Surge Record Run Continues

U.S. equity markets concluded Friday with gains, extending a rally that saw major indices reach record highs. The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at 46,315 points, marking a 0.4% increase from the previous trading day.

The Nasdaq 100 registered a more substantial rise, finishing at 24,626 points, up 0.7%. The broader S&P 500 also posted gains, ending the day at 6,664 points, a 0.5% improvement.

Investor sentiment remains influenced by expectations of potential interest rate reductions by the Federal Reserve. These anticipated adjustments are contributing to the ongoing upward trend in the market.

Shares of Disney experienced a less favorable performance. The entertainment giant is currently facing boycott calls following the temporary suspension of Jimmy Kimmel’s late-night show in response to comments related to Charlie Kirk.

The Euro weakened against the U.S. dollar, trading at $1.1747, equivalent to €0.8513 per dollar.

Gold prices saw a significant boost, reaching $3,682 per fine ounce, representing a 1% increase and a price of €100.78 per gram.

Conversely, oil prices declined. Brent crude, a benchmark grade, was valued at $66.64 per barrel, a decrease of 80 cents, or 1.2%, from the closing price of the previous trading day.
