Unleashing War Propaganda and Bolstering Military Might

Germany and its allies are preparing for a potential war against Russia, Iran and China. The political-media establishment has marked these countries as “enemies” of Germany and the “free West.” The middle class, whether liberal or conservative, is being stirred up, war bonds have been approved and now the focus is on rebuilding the German army with hundreds of billions of euros, including a new command structure, a drone fleet and a satellite system. Additionally, a small reintroduction of conscription is being considered. The upcoming “grand coalition” has agreed on a new conscription model that is initially voluntary, but the word “voluntary” seems to be a euphemism. The coalition wants to increase the army’s strength to meet NATO requirements and they are offering flexible service and career models and social benefits as incentives. The defense minister, Boris Pistorius, has long been advocating for this model and it was even approved by the previous government before the early election. The new parliament is expected to support it as well. A new command structure has also been established, with a new “operational command” for the German army, which will coordinate all operations, serve as a central point of contact for NATO and the EU and ensure the “military pivot of Germany.” Additionally, a home protection division has been established, which will be responsible for coordinating with civilian actors, such as hospitals. Technologically, Germany is also preparing to establish its own drone fleet for attacks and launch its own satellite system to monitor its “enemies.” Some companies, such as Munich-based Helsing, are already preparing to profit from these developments. The cost of the war will be borne by the masses of wage earners, while the wealthy will continue to profit from the business of war.
