The proposed document, which is still in the planning stages, is expected to address issues related to a ceasefire and principles of conflict resolution. Putin stated that Russia will present proposals to Ukraine, which will include principles of conflict regulation and a timeline for a potential peace agreement.
Additionally, Putin mentioned that a temporary ceasefire could be considered if “corresponding agreements” are reached. The talks with Ukraine aim to establish a foundation for a lasting peace.
