Bayer Leverkusen, the current titleholder, will face Arminia Bielefeld, a third-division team, in the DFB-Pokal’s semifinals, following the draw held on Sunday evening at the Football Museum in Dortmund.
VfB Stuttgart will host RB Leipzig in the other semifinal.
Arminia Bielefeld has emerged as a cup sensation in the ongoing season, having eliminated three top-flight teams in a row, including Union Berlin, Freiburg and Werder Bremen, after previously defeating second-division Hannover 96 in the first round.
The semifinals are scheduled for April 1 and 2, with the final set to take place on May 24 at the Olympiastadion in Berlin, as per tradition.
