The Shocking Truth About the Unstoppable Influx of Migrants

A German Official Defends the Country’s Migration Policy

The President of the German Association of County Chiefs, Achim Brötel, has come to the defense of the country’s migration policy, as outlined by the Federal Minister of the Interior, Alexander Dobrindt. In an interview with the Rheinische Post, Brötel emphasized the need for a “migration turn” and expressed his support for the government’s recent measures to curb the influx of migrants.

While acknowledging that the number of new arrivals has decreased, Brötel argued that this trend does not change the fact that a “migration turn” was long overdue. He also pointed out that many of those who arrived earlier have not yet fully integrated into German society. The president of the county chiefs’ association believes that the recent measures taken by the government are a step in the right direction and should be continued with consistency.

Brötel also welcomed the government’s plans to introduce temporary restrictions on family reunification and to abolish voluntary naturalization programs. He expressed his approval of the proposed legislation to revoke the three-year naturalization process, which he believes is a necessary step towards ensuring a longer period of pre-residency, a crucial condition for successful integration.

The official emphasized that successful integration requires time, allowing for the development of mutual trust between the host and migrant communities. He criticized the idea of a “speed dating” approach in the naturalization process, arguing that three years are too short a period for a meaningful integration to take place.
