German artists and albums continue to dominate the official German charts, with Oimara holding the top spot for the sixth consecutive week with “Wackelkontakt”. Zartmann’s “Tau mich auf” remains in second place, while newcomers Jiggy by Filow, Ikkimel, Lucry and Suena and Cesa, enter the charts at number three.
In the album charts, British multi-instrumentalist Steven Wilson’s “The Overview” takes the top spot, pushing Eisbrecher’s “Kaltfront” to second place. US rapper Playboi Carti debuts at number three with “Musci”, just ahead of Lady Gaga’s “Mayhem” at number four.
In a poignant turn of events, the late singer Anna R. re-enters the charts posthumously, with her solo work and collaborative efforts with the band Rosenstolz charting at numbers 82, 61 and 29, respectively. Rosenstolz’s singles “Ich bin ich (Wir sind wir)” and “Liebe ist alles” also re-enter the single charts at numbers 72 and 89, respectively.
The official German charts, compiled by GfK Entertainment on behalf of the Federal Association of the Music Industry, cover 90 percent of all music sales in the country.
