The Board of the German Federal Employment Agency, led by Andrea Nahles, is apparently planning to save around 400 million euros. “Business Insider” reported this on Thursday.
According to this, the employment agency is likely to have a hole in its budget of almost a billion euros this year. However, the authority wants to save money by faster placement of the unemployed, as contributions to the unemployment insurance are not increasing.
Although services will not be reduced, the pressure on the unemployed and employees is expected to increase within the agencies in the future.
