Bayern had their opportunities, but failed to capitalize on them. The best chance came in the 42nd minute, when Kane’s shot from six yards out was saved by Bijlow.

In the 90th minute, a Stengs shot from a Kimmich free kick was deflected by the Feyenoord goalkeeper, but the rebound was cleared. Instead, Feyenoord scored a second goal in the 90th minute, as Gimenez converted a penalty awarded for a foul on Stengs by Guerreiro.
