Right-Wing Group Raided Suspects Detained

Law enforcement authorities in Berlin, in coordination with police forces, executed eight search warrants on Tuesday morning targeting suspected members of the far-right group “Deutsche Jugend Voran”. The raids took place across Berlin, Brandenburg and Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, encompassing residences in the districts of Marzahn, Hellersdorf and Kaulsdorf, as well as the towns of Heckelberg-Brunow, Erkner, Bernau and Neustrelitz.

A total of 90 officers participated in the operation, securing mobile phones, data storage devices and clothing believed to be connected to the alleged offenses. An 18-year-old male was arrested in Berlin-Marzahn and is expected to appear before a judge.

The investigation stems from a reported attack on two journalists on the evening of August 10th near the Ostkreuz S-Bahn station, where the men, aged 23 and 25, were allegedly assaulted.

Beyond the Ostkreuz incident, the suspect faces accusations related to three additional attacks that occurred in 2024, reportedly targeting individuals wearing clothing associated with the “Antifa” movement. Officials are currently analyzing the seized materials to identify other potential participants and further the investigation.
