German music charts have seen a significant shift this week, with the collaboration between rapper Aymen and music producer Sira claiming the coveted number one spot. Their track, “30 mal am Tag” tops the official German single charts, announced by GfK on Friday.
The newcomers displace US singer Alex Warren (“Ordinary”), who held the top position for eight consecutive weeks, now falling to number three. The track “Golden” by “KPop Demon Hunters” secures the second position in between.
In the album charts, rapper Gzuz’s “Scherbenhaus” maintains its reign at the top. Following closely behind is Alice Cooper’s “The Revenge Of Alice Cooper” at number two, while Aymen’s self-titled debut album, “Aymen” climbs to number four. Completing the top five is the medieval band Saltatio Mortis with their compilation album “Weltenwanderer – Von Träumen & Krawall.
The official German charts are compiled by GfK Entertainment on behalf of the Federal Association of the Music Industry and represent approximately 90% of all music sales in Germany.
