Germany’s official album charts are led this week by the rap collective “01099” marking their third consecutive entry at number one. The group’s album, “orange” has swiftly ascended to the top spot, mirroring the success of its predecessors.
The ska-punk band “Sondaschule” secures the second position with their album “Wir bleiben wach” while Till Lindemann achieves a re-entry into the charts with “Zunge”. This album, originally released two years ago, has been updated and features additional tracks. Rounding out the top five are Amorphis (“Borderland”) and ZSK (“Feuer und Papier”).
Dominating the official German singles chart is “Golden” featuring Audrey Nuna, Ejae and Rei Ami, which retains its reign. The track has now spent nine weeks at number one – a record for 2024. Following closely are “Ordinary” by Alex Warren and “No Broke Boys” from Disco Lines and Tinashe, securing positions two and three respectively.
The charts are compiled by GfK Entertainment on behalf of the Federal Association of the German Music Industry and account for approximately 90 percent of all music sales in Germany.
