Prices Plunge, But Gasoline Stagnates!

Gasoline prices at German filling stations have shown an uneven development in the past week.

According to an ADAC spokesperson, the average price of a liter of Super E10 on Tuesday was 1,686 euros, the same as a week prior. In contrast, the diesel price, on average, was 1,613 euros, a decrease of 1.1 cents compared to the previous week.

In the previous week, prices for both categories had dropped significantly for the first time in a long time, reaching a new annual low. The difference in prices between the two types of fuel has increased again, with a liter of diesel now costing, on average, 7.3 cents less than a liter of E10, compared to 6.2 cents in the previous week.
