Lando Norris secured pole position for the Belgian Grand Prix, setting the fastest time during Saturday’s qualifying session at Spa-Francorchamps. The McLaren driver outperformed teammate Oscar Piastri and Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc to claim the top spot on the grid.
The remainder of the top ten saw a varied order, with Max Verstappen in his Red Bull placing fourth, followed by Alexander Albon of Williams. George Russell piloted his Mercedes in sixth, with Yuki Tsunoda also representing Red Bull. Rounding out the top ten were Racing Bulls’ Isack Hadjar and Liam Lawson, Aston Martin’s Fernando Alonso and Gabriel Bortoleto driving for Alfa Romeo.
German driver Nico Hülkenberg, also driving for Alfa Romeo, achieved a respectable starting position of 14th. The stage is now set for a highly anticipated race on Sunday.
