Jasmin Wagner, a musician known by the stage name Blümchen, who has had several successful Technopop hits (“Herz an Herz”, “Boomerang”), will no longer be performing starting at the end of the year to have more time for her family. In an interview with the weekly newspaper “Die Zeit”, the Hamburg native said, “As a mother, it was important to me at first to get back to work as quickly as possible and manage everything.” Wagner is married and has a two-year-old daughter. This year marks her 30th anniversary on stage and she is planning to go on tour in celebration. However, she plans to stop performing as a musician at the end of the year and will primarily focus on writing songs. She wants to start doing something that is more “between Monday and Friday” and leaves the weekends free.
