CDU’s Social Wing Warns of Coalition with SPD after German Federal Election
The CDU’s Social Wing has warned the Union against a coalition with the SPD after the federal election. “I simply lack the imagination of how the necessary corrections in foreign and security policy can be implemented with the SPD” said Dennis Radtke, Chairman of the Christian Democratic Employees’ Association (CDA), to the Funke Media Group’s newspapers (Friday editions). “The Moscow connection still dominates the SPD’s key decisions.”
Radtke also expressed the fear that a grand coalition could make the AfD the opposition leader in the German Bundestag. “The political climate in Germany is already dramatically poisoned. We don’t need an opposition leader like Alice Weidel, who’s already been seasoned” Radtke said.
