Rose and Bruno Mars continue to top the official German album charts with “APT”. The GfK announced this on Friday.
The second and third places on the podium remain unchanged. The medal winners are Gracie Abrams (“That’s So True”, two) and Nina Chuba (“Fata Morgana”, three).
In the album charts, “From Zero” by Linkin Park moves back to number one from two, making it the third time the work tops the charts, two months after its release. The highest new entry is by Schlager singer Daniela Alfinito with “Blick nach vorn”. Billie Eilish, a singer-songwriter, takes bronze with “Hit Me Hard And Soft”. The “Krawallbrüder” make it to the fourth position with “Unverhohlen und unverzerrt III”. Hip-hop artist Finch promotes his two albums “Dorfdisko Zwei” (six) and “Dorfdisko” (eight) to the top 10 due to vinyl re-releases.
The official German charts are determined by GfK Entertainment on behalf of the Federal Association of the Music Industry. They account for 90 percent of all music sales.
