The British metal band Sleep Token has reached the top of the official German album charts once again, according to a report from GfK on Friday. Their album “Even in Arcadia” has secured the number one spot. Rapper Pashanim follows in second place, as he did last week, with his album “Grünewürfelflow”. The English-Irish future-pop band VNV Nation also manages to grab the bronze position with “Construct”.
In the single charts, Pashanim and Ceren defend their top position with the song “Shabab(e)s im VIP”. German singer Jazeek comes in second with “Akon” and US star Alex Warren secures third place with “Ordinary”.
The official German charts are compiled by GfK Entertainment on behalf of the German Music Industries Association. They cover 90 percent of all music sales.
