McLaren's Norris Wins Rain-Interrupted Miami Sprint Race; Piastri Secures Second Spot

Lando Norris won the Sprint Race at the Miami Grand Prix after a rain delay. The McLaren driver secured eight World Championship points on Saturday afternoon (local time). His teammate Oscar Piastri, who leads the championship, finished second and earned seven points, with Lewis Hamilton of Ferrari taking third place – six points for the Briton. Behind them, Alex Albon (Williams), George Russell (Mercedes), Lance Stroll (Aston Martin), Liam Lawson (Racing Bulls) and Oliver Bearman (Haas) scored points. Max Verstappen (Red Bull) was penalized with a ten-second penalty for a pit-stop infringement against Kimi Antonelli (Mercedes). The next round is scheduled for 16:30 (local time, 22:30 in German time) with the qualifying for the race on Sunday.
