Romulo himself stated, “The move to RB Leipzig is a big step in my career. The Bundesliga is one of the strongest and most exciting leagues in the world and I want to prove myself here at the highest level”. He further emphasized his ambition to score goals, provide assists and contribute to team success, while also looking forward to experiencing the city and connecting with the fans.

Romulo’s footballing journey began with development at Maringa FC in Brazil. He then progressed through Athletico Paranaense before moving to Göztepe in Izmir in January 2024, where he played a significant role in the club’s promotion to the Süper Lig, contributing five goals and three assists.
