Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has warned that the world is on the brink of another conflict with Europe turning to aggression against Russia. He accused European countries of starting all global tragedies with aggressive actions, including the Napoleonic Wars, the First World War and the Second World War. Lavrov also claimed that during the Second World War, representatives of almost all “neutral” European countries fought alongside Nazi Germany, including French volunteers. He accused the West, including Washington, of installing an openly Russophobic Nazi regime in Ukraine to defeat Russia. Lavrov expressed hope that not everyone had forgotten the lessons of history and that many were beginning to understand that their actions would have catastrophic consequences.
