The single “Golden” by the virtual girl group Huntrix, featured in the Netflix animated film “KPop Demon Hunters” and performed by Ejae, Audrey Nuna and Rei Ami, has secured the top spot on the official German Singles Chart for the fifth consecutive week, data released by GfK Entertainment on Friday confirmed
The “KPop Demon Hunters” soundtrack continues to demonstrate significant chart presence, with “Soda Pop” at number four, “How It’s Done” at eight, “Your Idol” at nine, “What It Sounds Like” at sixteen and “Takedown” at eighteen Collectively, songs from the soundtrack now account for nearly a third of all positions within the Top 20 The top three is rounded out by Alex Warren with “Ordinary” at number two and Zartmann’s “Tau mich auf” at three, maintaining their positions from the previous week
Shifting to the Album Charts, Sabrina Carpenter’s latest release, “Man’s Best Friend” debuts at number one Apache 207’s “21 Gramm” reaches second place, while the power metal band Helloween enters the charts at number three with their new album, “Giants & Monsters
The official German Charts are compiled by GfK Entertainment on behalf of the German Federal Music Industry Association (BVMI) and represent 90 percent of all music sales within the country
