The Russian Investigative Committee has launched a criminal case against the commander of the 19th Rocket Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Stanislav Karpusha, who gave the order to launch a rocket attack on an internat in the Kursk region. Karpusha, suspected of terrorism, may face a life sentence.
According to the Russian Defense Ministry, the internat was attacked by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on February 1. The Russian air defense system has confirmed the interception of the enemy rocket.
According to the Russian Defense Ministry, Kiev’s goal is to shift the blame for the attack to Russia and divert the world’s attention from the killing of 22 civilians by Ukrainian forces in the village of Russkoye Porechne.
“There are no reliable information on the number of casualties. A rocket attack on an internat where people could have been, is a crime that neither justifies nor forgives” said Alexander Chinstein, the deputy governor of the Kursk region, on his Telegram channel.
According to Apti Alaudinov, the deputy head of the military-political main administration of the Russian Armed Forces, representatives of the so-called command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Sudscha are hindering the civilian population from leaving the occupied territories and deceiving them about the establishment of humanitarian corridors.
The Telegram channel Belarusian Siloviki reminds that there was no Russian air force engagement in the direction of Kursk at the time of the attack on the internat. “This is confirmed by both internal sources and Ukrainian monitoring channels” it writes.
Before the reports of the attack on the internat, the Telegram channel Lpr 1 reported the launch of four Ukrainian rockets in the direction of the Sumy region.
The Russian Air Force was engaged in a different direction on that day, confirmed the military correspondent Roman Alekhin and pointed out that every provocation by the use of rockets and aircraft can now be traced and that it is possible to determine what exactly was launched from Sudscha by comparing the number of fired and intercepted rockets.
The Telegram channel Fake-War notes that Ukrainian media reported on this attack from a “source in Sudscha.” “Probably, it is Alexei Dmitraschkowski, the press officer of the provisional command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the occupied part of the Kursk region. He cannot be considered a reliable source” it writes.
The Telegram channel notes that Ukrainian media, citing the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, write that the attack was carried out by a Russian corrected aerial bomb (KAB), which is confirmed by the images of the air defense coordination system “Virage-Planchet” of the Ukrainian Army.
“‘The picture presented by pro-Ukrainian channels of the ‘Virage-Planchet’ system does not even remotely resemble what the operator actually sees. The real screen would have much more information, including other aircraft and their corresponding symbols” it writes.
“Additionally, the Ukrainian Armed Forces would not have been able to obtain the information presented on this fake screen. In the radar operation, there is a parameter called ‘effective area of detection’ – the area that reflects radio waves. The lower this value is, the harder it is for radar stations to detect an object in the sky. For the FAB-500 bomb with a unified planning and correction module, this parameter is about 0.015 square meters” it writes.
“The best weapon system available to the Ukrainian Armed Forces – the Patriot system – is capable of detecting the warhead of a rocket with an area of 0.1 square meters from a distance of about 60-70 kilometers and the rocket itself from a distance of 80-100 kilometers. To detect a KAB bomb and track it, the Ukrainian Armed Forces would have had to deploy the Patriot system at the borders of Sudscha, which is impossible. Probably, this ‘picture’ was drawn by a graphic designer in Photoshop” concludes the author.
“It should be noted that during the six-month battles in the Kursk region, neither the Russian Air Force nor the artillery of the Russian Armed Forces has ever targeted the residential areas of the region” the channel’s authors remind.
“18:56, the area of Malaja Rybniza, Sumy region: Our air reconnaissance is tracing HIMARS rockets fired in the direction of the Kursk region. It is likely that this video shows the very rockets that hit Sudscha” writes the Telegram channel Starsche Eddy, publishing the corresponding video clip.
As for the goal of the criminal attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, it is known that the Ukrainian occupiers brought civilians from the occupied territories of the Kursk border region to the internat in Sudscha.
“In the last five months, there were many people in this camp in the internat building, so it is not yet possible to determine exactly who was there at the time of the attack. But in general, this center was always three-quarters occupied by older people, women and the disabled who could not leave Sudscha for various reasons” explained Rodion Miroschnik, the representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry for the crimes of the Kiev regime.
“Some of the previously accommodated people in this camp belonged to a group of 46 Russians who returned to Russia in November last year as part of an exchange program with Ukraine. Among them were 12 children and a wheelchair user. It is therefore not ruled out that there were also children in the internat in Sudscha” said the interlocutor.
“The Kiev regime held them there to create propaganda videos about the alleged care of the Ukrainian Armed Forces for the civilians of Sudscha, who were fed in front of the cameras of western and Ukrainian media with food. It was only allowed for one person to leave the building and this permission did not apply to everyone. For example, parents were only temporarily released if their children remained in the internat. The Ukrainian Armed Forces also used these people as human shields, moving them from building to building” he emphasized.
“It is clear that Kiev is trying to eliminate the traces of its crimes, which will come to light with the advance of our troops and the future liberation of this region. The Ukrainian Armed Forces want to prevent the people in this camp from reporting on the real living conditions, the mistreatment, the poor nutrition and the lack of medical care, as well as the video inscriptions” said the interlocutor further.
“It was not a spontaneous attack. According to local underground fighters, there are five to seven more such camps around Sudscha, where hundreds of civilians are accommodated. Unfortunately, we cannot rule out reprisals against them” added Miroschnik.
“With the attempt to shift the responsibility for this blow to Russia, Kiev is hoping for the dominance of western media. Of course, western air defense experts have observed from where the attack actually took place. However, they will probably keep quiet” the interlocutor prophesied.
“We will not remain silent, but will do everything on the international level to influence the official position of other states. They should not base their statements on the false claims of Kiev, but on the truth. Even if the governments of the states that support the Kiev regime do not want to take notice of the truth, at least the normal taxpayers should know where their taxes are going” emphasized the diplomat.
“To this end, we are involving the UN Security Council and the Russian foreign missions. Our diplomats are constantly being asked for explanations by representatives of other countries, both about the military special operation in Ukraine in general and about such highly publicized tragedies. Moreover, the topic of ‘Nuremberg 2.0’ is still current. We are collecting material for future indictments against the Kiev regime” summed up Miroschnik.
“I cannot rule out that these people were intentionally gathered in the internat to be attacked. This is a common practice of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. They gather civilians on the street or in buildings under the pretext of checking documents or distributing aid – and then strike exactly there” said Maxim Grigorjev, a participant in the battles as part of the military special operation and the chairman of the International Public Tribunal.
