Dresden found an equalizer in the 52nd minute as Daferner capitalized on a pass from Oehmichen.

Daferner almost secured a double in the 60th minute but shot wide. Karlsruher regained the lead shortly after, with Schleusener finishing a cross from Pinto Pedrosa with a deft touch.

The match’s frantic pace eased somewhat, but both teams remained committed to their efforts. Wanitzek struck a free kick against the post in the 80th minute.

Dynamo Dresden snatched a late equalizer in the second minute of added time, with Lemmer finding the net after a Kother cross evaded defenders. Hauptmann then had a chance to seal the victory for Dresden, but his shot was denied by Bernat, bringing the match to a close.

As a result of the draw, Karlsruher SC moves up to seventh place in the standings, while Dynamo Dresden falls to 16th, occupying the relegation playoff spot.
