Israel’s Foreign Minister, Gideon Sa’ar, has praised the country’s political and military support from Germany, stating that it is a crucial aspect of the international community and Europe. In an interview, Sa’ar emphasized the importance of political backing, saying, “Of course, we need political support in the first place.” He added that Germany is one of Israel’s friends in the international community and in Europe and that it is providing the necessary military aid, including weapons, for Israel’s self-defense.
Sa’ar also commended the military operation against Iran, describing it as a significant success in delaying the possibility of the country acquiring a nuclear bomb by at least two or three years. The minister reiterated that Israel will continue to take all necessary measures to eliminate the nuclear threat and the rocket program.

He emphasized that the continuation of Israel’s operations speaks for itself and that the limit is achieving the defined goals, not a specific timeframe.
Sa’ar categorically denied that a regime change in Iran is among Israel’s objectives, emphasizing that the security cabinet has not defined a regime change as a goal in this conflict, at least not so far. He named the nuclear program, the rocket program and the elimination program as the officially declared objectives of the war. However, he remained vague when asked about the potential targeting of Iran’s spiritual leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, saying, “We never speak in advance about what we will do.
