US Stock Markets Show Little Movement on Thursday
The US stock markets remained largely unchanged on Thursday, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average closing at 41,859 points, just a slight variation from the previous trading day.
The Nasdaq 100, on the other hand, inched up by 0.2 percent, closing at 21,112 points. The S&P 500, a broader market index, ended the day with a minimal decline, closing at 5,842 points.
Market observers note that investors remain cautious, with some analysts expressing concerns over the tax and spending bill proposed by US President Donald Trump. The bill, which has a narrow majority in the House of Representatives and still needs to pass the Senate, has raised concerns that Trump’s efforts to reduce the US national deficit may be taking a step back.
