Helicopter and Plane Collide in DC Skies, Leaving a Trail of Chaos!

Washington D.C. was the site of a mid-air collision on Thursday, as a commercial airliner and a US Army helicopter came together in a tragic accident. The American Airlines plane, carrying 64 people, veered off course and crashed into the Potomac River, reportedly breaking into multiple pieces.

Rescue efforts are ongoing, with reports of the number of survivors being pulled from the water in conflict. As of now, authorities have not released any information on the number of survivors. The water temperature of the river is of particular concern for the survival of the passengers and crew.

The commercial airliner, which departed from Wichita, Kansas, was in the process of landing at Reagan National Airport when the accident occurred. The helicopter, a Black Hawk, was reportedly on a training mission, with the status of the three people on board initially unknown. The airport is expected to remain closed until Friday morning.
