Emergency services responded to a residence in Hamburg-Barmbek-Nord on Tuesday afternoon, discovering a deceased woman and a severely injured man.
Police in Hamburg confirmed that the injured man was transported to a hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries shortly after. Officers located the woman and the man at an apartment on Lorichsstraße at approximately 4:09 PM.
The homicide squad has assumed responsibility for the investigation, working in coordination with the public prosecutor’s office. Initial findings suggest no indication of the involvement of a third party. Investigations are ongoing.
