Tour Operator Offers Flexibility for Persian Gulf Travelers Amid Air Traffic Concerns
Despite the German Foreign Office not issuing a formal travel warning for Persian Gulf countries like Dubai or Oman, but instead providing cautionary notes, Dertour is now allowing travelers to cancel or rebook their bookings in these destinations.
The Rewe subsidiary, in a statement to the Rheinische Post, announced that in light of the Foreign Office’s warning of potential disruptions to air travel in the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Oman and Saudi Arabia, the company is offering free rebookings and cancellations for travel to these destinations, with a deadline of June 23, 2025, for arrivals.
