The German Weather Service (DWD) expects light frost and glaze across the entire federal territory. In the middle and south, there is also a risk of black ice due to freezing rain, the agency reported on Saturday evening.
Furthermore, there will be light snowfall in the Allgäu region. In the night and on Sunday, the meteorologists forecast black ice and, apart from the northeastern and northernmost parts, widespread snowfall in the south.
In the Black Forest, on the other hand, it will be mild and humid. Gusty winds like an orcan will occur on the Brocken, strong gusts on the Fichtelberg, and storm and wind gusts along the coasts and in the hilly regions. Prolonged rain can be observed in some areas in the west.
