The second half saw both teams maintain a high tempo, with Magdeburg eventually finding the equalizer through Martijn Kaars in the 72nd minute. Jean Hugonet then scored for the hosts in the 78th minute, only for Nürnberg to regain the lead through Julian Justvan’s goal in the 90th minute of added time.
The result sees Magdeburg remain in third place, while Nürnberg moves up to ninth in the standings. In other matches on Saturday, Ulm lost 0-2 to Paderborn and Darmstadt fell 0-3 to Elversberg.
