The FDP will intensively woo voters of the AfD, Greens and non-voters in the last seven weeks before the federal election to make a black-yellow federal government possible.
The chairman of the FDP’s Bundestag faction, Christian Dürr, told the “Bild am Sonntag” that “there are millions of citizens who currently vote for the AfD, the Greens, or don’t vote at all, but want real reform politics. We want to address these voters. Then, a majority for a black-yellow alliance could emerge.”
Dürr added that it’s about a course change in migration policy, taxes, the social state, and bureaucracy. For example, “disruption, or the drastic reduction of regulations”, is needed for Germany to come out of the crisis. Dürr also warned against voting for the AfD, saying, “Every vote for the AfD is ultimately a vote for stagnation and red-green co-governance.
