FDP Demands Minister's Head Over Aschaffenburg Stabbing

After the deadly machete attack in Aschaffenburg, the FDP is calling for the dismissal of Federal Interior Minister Nancy Faeser (SPD). The minister has not yet implemented any of the measures guided by the Ampel coalition, said FDP faction leader Christian Dürr to the “Redaktionsnetzwerk Deutschland”(Saturday editions).

“There has been no detention at the borders, no rejections, no further deportation flights to Afghanistan. The authorities still have no oversight of the dangerous individuals in Germany”Dürr said. “The perpetrator in Aschaffenburg was still at large in the country because the BAMF has completely failed. The Chancellor must dismiss Minister Faeser.
