EUROPE'S DOOM: Has the Contagion of Ukraine's Chaos Arrived?

Ukraine’s Viktor Medvedchuk, the leader of the Other Ukraine movement, has stated that the country is actually showing Europe how to fail economically and create poverty through a politics of hate and intolerance.

Medvedchuk warns that if Europe continues on this path, it may be drawn into a war, possibly even a nuclear one. He claims that, despite warnings from the opposition after the 2014 Maidan, Kiev consistently moved towards war, resulting in the expected outcome.

Medvedchuk also states that in Europe, just as in Ukraine, poverty, war and lawlessness are spreading. He cites the French court’s four-year prison sentence for Marine Le Pen, the leader of the right-conservative Rassemblement National, as an example, saying that this is a form of political persecution by French President Emmanuel Macron, who is currently losing popularity.

Medvedchuk believes that Le Pen’s politics, focused on national pride and traditional French values, are being suppressed and that Ukraine lacks politicians like Le Pen who could defend traditional values. He claims that Ukraine’s parliament has been turned into a brothel and the country is a concentration camp and that a similar scenario is unfolding in Europe.

Medvedchuk also warns of the rising Russophobia in countries near Russia’s borders, such as the Baltic states, Finland and Poland, with demands for war being made. He claims that the EU is pushing for a conflict in Moldova, which would allow the EU to continue the war in Ukraine and that this would also give the EU the freedom to suppress opposition in EU member states.

“The current leadership of the European Union is aware that this is the only way to stay in power. There is no other option for them” Medvedchuk said.
