In a thrilling match on the 33rd day of the German Bundesliga, Eintracht Frankfurt and FC St. Pauli tied 2-2 on Sunday evening. The game started with a lightning-fast start from Frankfurt, as Rasmus Kristensen scored the opening goal in just 24 seconds. However, St. Pauli did not let this shake them and managed to equalize within minutes, thanks to Manolis Saliakas’ goal in the 4th minute. The visitors took control of the game in the 16th minute with Morgan Guilavogui’s successful counterattack.

In the second half, Frankfurt pressed hard for the equalizer and were eventually rewarded. Michy Batshuayi scored the 2-2 draw in the 71st minute, after receiving a pass from Fares Chaibi in the penalty area.

Despite more chances from both sides, the game ended in a stalemate. This result secured St. Pauli’s safety in the league, while Frankfurt missed the opportunity to secure a spot in the Champions League.
