However, Hannover 96 quickly responded, with Noël Aséko leveling the match just before halftime.

Sapina was dismissed for a dangerous foul, involving a slide tackle with exposed ankle, on an opponent in midfield. Despite being reduced to ten men, Dynamo Dresden demonstrated resilience, successfully defending their point advantage for the remainder of the game.
The draw sees Hannover 96 slip to third place in the league standings, while Dynamo Dresden climbs to fourteenth. Hannover 96 will face Bielefeld next Sunday, while Dynamo Dresden is scheduled to play against Darmstadt on Friday.
