In the 32nd matchday of the 1. Bundesliga, Borussia Dortmund won 4:0 against VfL Wolfsburg at home. The Borussia already set the stage for victory in the third minute when Guirassy received a pass from Brandt that seemed to be off course, but he made the most of it and scored after deceiving Grabara.
The Hasenhüttl team initially reacted courageously, but in the tenth minute, Wimmer missed a chance from a tight angle and in the eleventh minute, Lukas Nmecha could not get past Kobel.
After that, Borussia Dortmund regained control of the game and took the narrow lead into the halftime.
In the second half, the Kovac team continued to press and in the 59th minute, they increased the lead: Groß tricked three opponents on the right side and passed to Guirassy, who scored humorlessly.
Shortly after, Adeyemi came into the game and sealed the victory: The attacker was set up by Bensebaini in the 69th minute and calmly beat Grabara. He scored a double in the 73rd minute after a combination with Brandt, leaving no doubt that he had to finish alone in front of the net.
It seemed like the end for the Niedersachsen and the hosts secured a completely safe victory.
With this win, Dortmund temporarily climbed to the Champions League position of four, while Wolfsburg remains twelfth in the table.
