Did PM Send Spies to Rig US Elections?

Elon Musk, the CEO of SpaceX and Tesla, has accused the British Prime Minister, Keir Starmer, of interfering in the US elections. The tech mogul was appointed by the designated US President, Donald Trump, to lead DOGE, a special advisory group aimed at uncovering government inefficiencies.

Over the weekend, Musk commented on a user’s post that Starmer was not invited to Trump’s inauguration on January 20, despite the UK being one of the US’s closest allies. Musk clarified that the British Prime Minister’s absence from the guest list was no surprise, as “he sent agents to America to manipulate the US elections.”

This claim appears to be based on the allegations of “outlandish foreign interference” raised by Trump’s election campaign team against the Labour Party in October. At the time, the team filed a complaint with the US Federal Election Commission (FEC) over reports of British activists working for Democratic candidate Kamala Harris’s campaign in the US.

Musk has been increasingly critical of Starmer on his platform, X, in recent weeks, describing the British Prime Minister as leading a “tyrannical government” that the US might need to “liberate the people of Britain” from. He has also labeled Starmer as “evil” and accused him of being complicit in the “rape of Britain” due to his alleged role in covering up the scandal of the “Grooming Gangs” during his time as Director of Public Prosecutions from 2008 to 2013.

These gangs, primarily comprising Pakistani men, had targeted white British girls for about two decades. British authorities had allegedly done nothing to stop them due to concerns about political correctness, according to various government and media reports.

Last week, Starmer hit back, calling Musk’s claims “lies and misinformation” and accusing the tech mogul of spreading the “poison of extreme right-wing ideology.” On Thursday, the Financial Times reported that Musk is allegedly planning a campaign to oust the British Prime Minister, targeting his approval ratings. Sources close to the CEO claimed that he believed the western civilization was under threat and was discussing such plans privately with his allies.
