'Decisions, Not Debates' - CSU Demands Action

A key meeting of the coalition committee is set to take place on Wednesday, with CSU’s Landesgruppenchef Alexander Hoffmann expecting clear decisions to be made. In an interview with the Rheinische Post, Hoffmann emphasized the need for a decisive coalition, stating, “We don’t want to be a discussion and debating coalition, but a decision and results-oriented one.”

The CSU official, who is also a member of the coalition committee, highlighted the importance of tackling three key issues at the outset: limiting illegal migration, revitalizing the economy and reducing energy prices. At the first meeting of the committee, Hoffmann said the focus will be on “how we can implement the policy change by summer.” He also stressed the need for the public to “quickly experience the positive changes in their daily lives, as the situation in the country improves under the leadership of the union-led federal government.
