Organized Crime Increasingly Engaged in Black Market Employment in Germany

According to customs authorities in Germany, black market employment is increasingly being carried out by criminal networks. Behind-the-scenes networks are collaborating with dummy firms and German construction companies and tradespeople. This practice is being carried out on a larger scale in Germany. Rolfink, who is responsible for combating black market employment in Germany, stated that vulnerable sectors are primarily those that are labor-intensive, require only simple tasks and have low profit margins. Rolfink announced that they will react to this development. They have realized that it is more effective to focus on the “big fish.” “If we are able to identify one of these dummy firms, we can uncover entire criminal networks” said the customs president. “It requires a lot of investigative work, but – I’ll put it bluntly – there is a lot of meat on the bone.
