The Free Voters warn the CSU against considering a different government constellation in Bavaria. A coalition with another party would have been a “bad deal” for the CSU, said Free Voters leader Hubert Aiwanger to the “Mediengruppe Bayern” (Thursday editions). “Perhaps the CSU sees after the spectacle at the federal election and the many other difficulties they had with the SPD in such a short time, how lucky they must be to be able to cooperate with the Free Voters in Bavaria” said State Agriculture Minister Aiwanger. “The fantasies of the CSU to exchange us because of our differences on the debt brake with the SPD – or in times of Corona with the Greens – would have been a bad deal for Bavaria and also for the CSU itself” claimed the head of the Free Voters and warned: “Bavaria would have been destabilized.
