The Christian Social Union (CSU) group in the German Bundestag is expected to make a course change in climate policy at its retreat in Seeon, according to a report by “Bild am Sonntag” citing a draft resolution.
The document states in so many words: “We will subject climate protection measures to a workplace check in the future. Climate protection measures will take place in the future in an industry- and job-friendly manner.”
It is necessary for a “climate protection that leads to growth, not to flight.” Because, a policy that leads to “production leaving Germany and the CO2 being emitted simply somewhere else in the world” is in truth not climate protection, but “plain deindustrialization program”.
