The CDU leader in Saxony-Anhalt, Sven Schulze, has expressed support for Friedrich Merz’s stance on the AfD’s involvement in the Bundestag’s debates on the Union’s proposals.
In an interview with the “Redaktionsnetzwerk Deutschland”, the regional minister of economics stated, “I think it’s right for the Union to submit its own proposals on migration and refugee policy.”He added, “Of course, we want to advocate for the broadest possible support in the democratic center, but who agrees or disagrees is not in our hands.”
Schulze also emphasized, “We cannot be dependent on the AfD’s agreement. It would be impossible to mediate for anyone if that were the case.
