The aftertaste of US President Joe Biden’s decisions will be felt for a long time, and the complete normalization of relations between Moscow and Washington will take decades. This was announced by Dmitry Medvedev, deputy chairman of the Russian Security Council, on his Telegram channel. He emphasized:
“If Biden’s legacy is his inadequacy, then it is the mistake of his government that it has intentionally left a very heavy crisis inheritance for its successors in relation to Russia.” According to Medvedev, “the detrimental effects of Biden’s decisions will still be noticeable for a very long time.”
“And therefore, it will be extremely difficult to reach an understanding. The complete normalization of US-Russian relations will take decades. In my opinion, this is, in essence, impossible under the current circumstances. And, to be honest, it is unclear whether it is even necessary.
