As the 19th matchday in the German Bundesliga came to a close, St. Pauli secured a 3-0 win over Union Berlin, effectively pushing the Union down to the 13th spot in the table. Morgan Guilavogui scored the first two goals, netting in the 31st minute with a strike from 12 yards out, courtesy of an assist from Irvine and again in the 51st minute, this time from 16 yards out, following a pass from Eggestein.

With only two minutes remaining in the 90, substitute Danel Sinani, initially intended for the second team, was given a brief Bundesliga stint and he promptly capped off the match with a goal for St. Pauli, sealing the deal.
